User Guide
1. Introduction
This user guide will help you navigate the FCC Dashboard Application, which includes filters, a map visual, and a table. The dashboard is built in Power BI and published to Microsoft AppSource. This guide will cover how to access and interact with each element of the dashboard to make the most out of your data analysis.
2. Accessing the Dashboard from Microsoft AppSource
To access the dashboard from Microsoft AppSource, follow these steps:

Open your web browser and navigate to https://appsource.microsoft.com/.

Sign in with your Microsoft account credentials.

Use the search bar at the top of the page to search for the Power BI dashboard by name or relevant keywords.

Locate the dashboard from the search results and click on it.

Click the "Get it now" button and follow the on-screen instructions to add the dashboard to your Power BI workspace.
3. Opening the Dashboard in Power BI
After adding the dashboard to your Power BI workspace, follow these steps to open it:

Launch the Power BI application or navigate to https://app.powerbi.com/ in your web browser.

Sign in with your Microsoft account credentials.

Locate the dashboard in the workspace where you added it or the 'Recent' section on the Home screen.

Click on the dashboard thumbnail to open it.
4. Navigating the Filters Pane
Filters allow you to refine the data displayed in your visuals based on specific criteria. The filters pane is usually located on the right side of the dashboard.
4.1. Applying a Filter - To apply a filter, follow these steps:

Identify the filter you want to apply in the filters pane.

Click the dropdown arrow next to the filter.

Choose the desired filter options, such as specific values, a date range, or other criteria.

Click "Apply" to update the visuals with the filtered data
4.2. Clearing a Filter - To clear a filter, click the eraser icon next to the filter name in the filters pane. This will remove the filter and return the visuals to their original state.
5. Interacting with the Map Visual
The map visual provides a geographical representation of schools and libraries who purchased telecom products & services.
5.1.1 Zooming and Panning - To zoom in or out on the map, use the scroll wheel on your mouse or the "+" and "-" buttons on the map. To pan the map, click and drag in any direction.
5.2. Selecting Data Points - Click on a data point or region on the map to select it. This will highlight the selected data and may also update other visuals on the dashboard to display related information.
6. Interacting with the Table
The table displays data in rows and columns. Each row represents a product or service expense. Contract information, product information, service information, customer information, and provider information can all be found in the table.
6.1. Sorting Data - To sort the data in a table, click the column header for the attribute you want to sort by. Clicking once will sort the data in ascending order, and clicking again will sort it in descending order.
6.2. Selecting Rows - Click on a row in the table to select it. This will highlight the selected row and may also update other visuals on the dashboard to display related information.
7. Exporting and Sharing the Dashboard
To export or share the dashboard with others, click the ellipsis (...) in the top-right corner of the dashboard and select "Export" or "Share" from the drop-down menu. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the export or sharing process.
